The kids are back in school and our fall schedule is now online! 

 

New:  Creative Movement for Kids!  Dance, fitness, nutrition and fun for K-4th graders!  Begins Saturday September 11th at 11:15am!  More details in Momshell Kids...

 

New: Mom and Me After school bootcamps!  You work out while your kids get their own workout with their own instructor and a snack!  3:30 on Mondays and Wednesdays!

 

New:  ZuMOMba - Zumba for moms and kids!  Saturdays at 10am!

 

New: The Physique Method - a new class that mixes yoga, Pilates, barre, and core work into a workout unlike any other!  Tuesday and Thursday at 10am!

So, what's a Momshell, anyway?

 

Being a Momshell is about looking good and feeling better.  It's about setting a great example for your kids by making exercise and physical activity a regular part of your life.  It's about competing- with yourself or others- to push yourself more, achieve more.  It's about feeling great about yourself and what you are doing for your body.

 

It's about confidence.

 

Just because you're a mom (or a grandma) doesn't mean that it's time for aprons, bad haircuts, and mom jeans.  Forget that!  Age is only a number, after all.  A Momshell is a woman that decides to take charge of her body and improve her health through exercise- not just any exercise, mind you, but intense, "I can't believe I'm doing this!" exercise. 

 

The product of this hard work is confidence and empowerment- pride in what you've accomplished and feeling good inside and out.  Oh, and getting back into those skinny jeans in the back of the closet is pretty cool, too.

 

So, what are you waiting for???  Get ready to lunge, jump, sprint, lift and to sweat your behind off...literally.  Unleash the inner Momshell in you TODAY!

 

What's makes the Momshell Fitness approach different?

 

Glad you asked!  I'm a working mom with two kids, a husband, two dogs, and a house.  My life is a juggling act.  Sound familiar?  I understand the need for flexibility.  Unlike many other trainers or fitness centers, I won't charge you for a missed session.  Sometimes your kid gets sick, sometimes your husband is out of town, maybe your water heater blew up and you have to wait on the plumber, or you have a crisis at work.  You have up to two months to use your sessions.  All I ask is that you email me or text me if you can't make it.

 

Got kids?  Me, too.  In the spring, I will resume the "Get Fit with Mom" program in the afternoons- you bring your kids and they do a mini-bootcamp while you get your fit on.  Even now, on nice days when we're outside at the park, you can always bring your kids and they can play.  We are also planning to add several new programs for kids for both the spring and the summer.

 

Momshell Fitness is not just a bootcamp experience, personal training session, bellydance session, Zumba or Pilates class- it's a community of women!  There is a monthly newletter with articles on fitness and general health as well as ideas on yummy but healthy recipes shared by other "Momshells."  It's about supporting each other and making the workout as much about hanging with the girls as it is about busting your behind running with a medicine ball.

 

Variety is not only the spice of life, it keeps workouts from being boring and keeps your muscles confused!  I love to mix things up.  I love to mix up our music, too.  It's more fun and makes you work that much harder!
